The Role

Principales responsabilidades:

  • Administrar y mantener bases de datos RDS Aurora MySQL, MongoDB, y Cassandra en un entorno de producción de alta disponibilidad.
  • Optimizar el rendimiento de las bases de datos y su escalabilidad
  • Diseñar y ejecutar estrategias de migración de datos entre diferentes esquemas y Sistemas de bases de datos.
  • Implementar y gestionar políticas de seguridad, copias de seguridad, y recuperación de desastres para garantizar la integridad y disponibilidad de los datos.
  • Mantener la documentación técnica y los procedimientos de operación para las bases de datos.
  • Investigar y evaluar nuevas tecnologías y tendencias en el campo de las bases de datos para mejorar continuamente las prácticas de la empresa.

Who You Are

Conocimientos imprescindibles (mínimo 3 años de experiencia):

  • Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia en la administración de bases de datos relacionales y NoSQL en un entorno de producción. Experiencia práctica con Amazon RDS Aurora MySQL, MongoDB, y Cassandra.
  • Conocimiento avanzado en bases de datos: índices, particionamiento... Dominio de SQL y herramientas de análisis de consultas (como "EXPLAIN" en MySQL)
  • Migraciones de datos complejas entre diferentes sistemas de bases de datos
  • Conocimiento avanzado de conceptos de bases de datos, incluyendo índices, particionamiento, y sharding
  • Experiencia en la gestión de la seguridad de bases de datos, copias de seguridad, y recuperación de desastres
  • Habilidad para trabajar con scripts y automatización (por ejemplo, Bash, Python).
  • Experiencia con herramientas de monitoreo y gestión de bases de datos (como CloudWatch, Grafana)

Conocimientos deseables:

  • Herramientas de ticketing: ServiceNow, JIRA
  • Certificaciones en bases de datos o AWS.
  • Conocimiento de DevOps y CI/CD.
  • Experiencia con otros sistemas de bases de datos (por ejemplo, PostgreSQL,
