JOB DESCRIPTION
Administer company-sponsored employee benefit plans, as assigned, as well as their applicable policies and procedures. Partner with other team members to align benefit strategy/plan initiatives with business goals and Total Rewards objectives/plan administration. Responsible for the data analytics and financial management of the company's benefit plans as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide the administration and serve as main point of contact for division disability and leave teams
- Oversee assigned benefit plan vendor relationships, including handling escalations, vendor performance, account management, review meetings and onsite visits

- Understand the utilization/financial analysis of assigned benefit plans, recommending strategies to address trend; review rates/renewals and performance guarantee arrangements/results with benefit plan analyst
- Partner with benefit plan manager, disability & leave and technology team to develop modern solutions and process improvements related to system and files
- Develop and provide plan management reports and ad hoc reports for assigned benefits
- Provide cost analysis and negotiation support for the annual renewals for the self-insured and fully-insured health and welfare benefit plans (for health benefits)
- Oversee the monthly self-bill and reconciliation process for our vendor administrative fees for assigned benefit plans
- Assist in managing data and financial aspects of vendor partnerships, including rates/fees, performance guarantees, and other contract terms; provide financial assistance for any vendor audits
- Partner with Associate Communications team and other benefit plan team members to develop, implement and manage assigned benefit plan communication materials, including internal and external communications
- Ensure compliance of federal laws to include but not limited to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Internal Revenue Code applicable to assigned benefit plans and understanding laws and their impact to plans
- Manage and maintain the eligibility roles for the leave programs, including short-term disability and Family Medical Leave (FML)
- Work closely with internal and external legal counsel to develop required notices, plan amendments, plan documents and other required documentation
- Work with division HR teams, Total Rewards managers, and leave specialist to administer assigned benefit plans
- Conduct required year-end processes of assigned benefit plans
- Partner with Legal to file requests for additional registered shares with the SEC as needed
- Travel 15% to conferences and vendor facilities for meetings

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Any proven management/leadership experience
- 3+ years of experience in the administration of employee benefit plans
- Excellent analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- Independent decision-making abilities
- Excellent follow-up and follow through skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years previous benefits administration specifically in assigned benefit plans
