Overview

POSITION PROFILE

As Marketing leader for this territory, the role requires full ownership of the marketing strategy for Canada including P&L-level accountability. The role will require a strategic vision, executional excellence, and the ability to collaborate closely with the sales and executive teams to drive market leadership and growth across the country. The role will be responsible for positioning IT Weapons as the go-to provider in the Toronto IT services sector, ensuring we continue to lead and innovate in this competitive space. One of the primary responsibilities is managing all marketing technology and infrastructure that belongs to IT weapons which includes the website and CMS, marketing automation platform, ABM platform and dedicated sales engagement tools. The role demands a high degree of self-sufficiency, with opportunities for future team expansion to further amplify marketing impact.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Owning and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy across multiple channels
  • Creating client advocacy programs and developing revenue growth strategies for existing clients
  • Building and optimizing marketing campaigns, lead nurturing programs and ABM initiatives
  • Leveraging marketing analytics to measure success and refine strategies
  • Own, develop and deliver actionable and outcome-oriented marketing strategy aligned with business revenue goals as it pertains to net new customer acquisition, expansion and retention
  • Collaborate with product marketing to design creative campaigns, GTM messaging, and enablement initiatives
  • Create and manage customized marketing briefs for internal alignment and to share opportunities for collaboration across the company
  • Create client advocacy program turning passionate customers into public champions, creating a competitive advantage in the market
  • Develop strategies to enhance revenue growth from existing clients and reduce churn
  • Interact and engage comfortably with senior and executive-level stakeholders, establishing strong relationships and alignment on market opportunities, objectives, and campaigns
  • Generate sales pipeline with targeted 1:1 and 1:few ABM campaigns
  • Build, execute, measure, and optimize multiple marketing campaigns, lead nurturing programs, demand generation, regional events/tradeshows, and engaging content
  • Leverage marketing analytics and reporting platforms to define success metrics, deliver comprehensive campaign status reports to the executive team, and continuously refine strategies for improved performance and outcomes
  • Partner with external agencies and content team to drive compelling, personalized content and campaigns that resonate with our target audiences to build positive brand recognition
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of key martech platforms, including driving the marketing strategy for the 6sense tool across both ITW and All Covered teams
  • Oversee the website strategy and redesign to enhance user experience and performance
  • Independently set up and manage the HubSpot instance, including configuring lead scoring, building robust reporting systems, and ensuring seamless marketing operations

Qualifications

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably within fast-growing tech companies or digital managed IT services
  • Led and mentored high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture with history of improving lead to pipeline conversion rates
  • Deep understanding of cloud, security, and generative AI, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing narratives
  • Proven track record of developing and executing demand generation and ABM strategies that drive measurable results
  • Experience in building and scaling foundational marketing platforms and programs that enable efficient, repeatable, and scalable marketing efforts
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity
  • Data-driven with a strong analytical and operational mindset, skilled in setting up processes to track key success metrics and optimize performance by leveraging KPIs and campaign levers
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
