Digital Testing & Personalization Specialist

Position Overview
We're looking for a Specialist, Digital Testing & Personalization; the role will be primarily focused on executing digital tests and personalized experiences in Monetate, Salesforce, and other tools. A large focus for the role will be executing, measuring, and documenting personalized experiences to enhance omnichannel experiences for segmented audiences. Additionally, the role will attend and participate in meetings, perform pre-and-post-test reporting and analysis, maintain documentation and assist with other testing initiatives, including but not limited to, contributing to the testing/personalized experiences roadmap. You will also partner with cross-functional leads from teams like web merch, digital product, digital marketing, IT, and analytics to ideate and execute personalized experiences and tests. You will participate in proactive insights generation and will respond to ad-hoc requests for insights and personalization. As a member of the broader eCommerce analytics and personalization team, you will help to drive significant improvements in ecommerce revenue by deeply interrogating metrics and transforming data to insights; you'll proactively ideate on insights from data, advocate for them through elevated storytelling, and prove their value through testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Operational Execution
  • Support the tactical execution of testing and personalization initiatives guided by the testing & personalization roadmap, product roadmap, and business stakeholder direction with a focus on testing ideation and execution rooted in customer analytics insights to bring wholistic personalized experiences to key audiences on web and across channels
  • Contribute to the maintenance and progress of the testing roadmap by setting up, monitoring, and maintaining individual tests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to ensure seamless execution of testing and personalization projects especially focused in segmented omnichannel experiences

Testing and Optimization
  • Execute day-to-day activities involved in pre-testing setup, test design, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Analyze test data, create reports or PPT slides, and interpret results to identify performance trends and present to business stakeholders
  • Provide support in HTML and CSS for the validation and implementation of basic tests.
  • Proactively complete test request assignments from testing Jira board and provide timely updates by appropriately prioritize based on business needs and timelines.
  • Write and manage Jira tickets across sprint cycles for formal QA or technical testing inquiries in collaboration with IT and Product teams
  • Conduct A/B testing and personalization setup using tools like Monetate or Salesforce

Insights, Analytics, and Reporting
  • Leverage tools such as Google Analytics, Monetate, and ContentSquare to track and report test performance metrics.
  • Create and distribute testing performance reports (daily, monthly, quarterly) to key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Surface data-driven insights to inform team discussions and identify potential areas for optimization.
  • Respond to internal requests for performance data and assist in creating visualizations or presentations as needed.
Collaboration and Training
  • Provide operational support and training to team members or testing users, ensuring proper understanding of processes and tools.
  • Troubleshoot testing or reporting issues, escalating to the manager when necessary.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to represent testing and personalization priorities.
Professional Development
  • Stay updated on advancements in testing tools and personalization technologies, sharing relevant insights with the team.
  • Collaborate with the manager to identify growth opportunities and expand expertise in analytics, testing, optimization and cross-functional collaboration techniques.
Other
  • Document results and insights for the testing program to serve as a resource and archive for team and stakeholder reference
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-training in web analytics, voice of the customer, and will be expected to contribute to the entire team as needed

Professional Qualifications
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in A/B testing, personalization, and user experience optimization
  • Familiarity with tools like Monetate, Google Analytics, ContentSquare, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Proven ability to execute testing workflows and interpret performance data to derive actionable insights.
  • Basic functional-technical skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for test implementation.
Preferred
  • Advanced coursework or certifications in analytics or testing platforms.
  • Experience with jewelry/luxury/lifestyle eCommerce or retail operations.
  • Experience with UX design and prototyping preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience with digital merchandising concepts and execution.
