About the Role:

We are seeking a storyteller to join our team as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager. In this role, you’ll work with our customers to create proof points for value they are realizing from using our products. KeepTruckin has over 115,000 customers who use our software and hardware to improve the safety, productivity, and profitability of their businesses. The primary mission of this role is to document the customers’ success and share it with our sellers, employees, customers, partners, and prospects.  

The ideal candidate will understand our products, their value propositions, and different use cases to be able to ask the right questions to learn from the customers and their outcomes. She or he has to be a great storyteller to translate the customer insights into memorable narratives. The candidate will need to develop personal relationships with a large enough group of customers from which to pull for any customer marketing opportunities: webinars, speaking at events, video testimonies, quotes for press releases, etc.

What You'll Do:

  • You will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify customers who are willing to share their story in order to create case studies, success stories, and customer proof points. 
  • You will be responsible for building our library of customer stories and proof points for sales and drive our use of customer stories in our brand awareness marketing. 
  • Work with industry marketing teams to identify potential customer advocates, work with sales to encourage their support of advocacy activities, and connect with customers to match them to opportunities.
  • Turn customer stories into emotional and inspiring brand awareness content. 
  • Build process to support regular customer outreach and advocate nurturing. 
  • Work cross-functionally to recruit, activate, and develop customer advocates.  
  • Develop customer relationships and establish a large enough pool to pull from for various customer leverage tactics.
  • Execute various customer-leverage projects such as surveys and polls.
  • Partner with design, sales, and marketing to build content and collateral (blog, website, slide decks, videos, etc) that show customer benefits and value proof points. 
  • Work closely with various teams to produce remarkable customer events, customer advisory boards, and other key executive relations programs
  • Align with the product teams on customer leverage from beta tests and similar programs.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of work experience doing B2B customer advocacy or references, communications, and/or customer marketing.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills — has previous writing samples to point to
  • Technology aptitude to learn enough about the products to be able to ask the right questions
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, a high-energy go-getter 
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to react to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects at once
