As an Associate in our Wholesale Payments Product Control team, you will ensure the financial performance of our Payments business is accurately reflected in our financial statements, external disclosures, and regulatory filings. You will collaborate with various teams to maintain the integrity of our Income Statement and Balance Sheet, supporting strategic business decisions and enhancing our financial reporting processes.

Job responsibilities
- Managing the integrity of the Payments business' Income Statement and Balance Sheet at a Legal Entity level
- Collaborating with Business, Financial Control, Legal Entity Control, and Operations to assess impact to Finance, and define accounting schema and resolve issues promptly
- Performing month-end financial close activities to ensure accuracy
- Ensuring financial reporting integrity during product system enhancements and strategic migrations
- Providing functional commentary for new product/business initiatives and perform regular analytics
- Governing and manage key deliverables, including coordination across functions and timely escalation
- Supporting business initiatives such as change management, New Business Investment Approval (NBIA), and investigations on revenues and balance sheets
- Participating in Finance & Business Management-related projects, including changes to Corporate Finance applications
- Assessing the impact of technological transformations on Product Control's business as usual activities
- Building and maintain strong working relationships with business and product teams, central Finance project team, and operations and technology partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance Control, Product Control functions, Business Management, Audit, or Operations in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of Finance & Business Management functions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
- Structured business analysis skills with a control mindset
- Good influencing, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Team player with multi-tasking ability
- Self-starter, motivated, proactive, and takes ownership
- Sound judgment with balanced decision-making
- Attention to detail, results-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Payments or Transaction Banking products and sub-ledger systems
- Experience with Digital Accelerator tools, including Business Intelligence and Visualization tools e.g., Tableau and QlikView
