Join the dynamic team at J.P Morgan's APAC Private Banking business with a focus on Southeast Asia (SEA) market and deliver exceptional experiences to our clients.

Job Summary:

As an UHNW Client Advisor, Associate for Southeast Asia market team at JP Morgan, you will manage and support all facets of client relationships across the team. Your responsibilities will include handling and coordinating with various teams on account inquiries and investment-related aspects, as well as delivering strategic messages to your portfolio. In collaboration with other team members, you will strive to provide high-quality client service and ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary contact with external clients for day to day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for our clients, by upholding high levels of servicing and support. Facilitate the transfer out of assets and subsequently the full closure of accounts where necessary.
  • Partner with the Client Service team and any other member of the broader team in the daily management of Accounts and Credit facilities, and any other accounts or activities relating to the overall client relationships.
  • Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.
  • Develop an in deep knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank.
  • Prepare and provide analysis of investment performance or other client presentations to deliver to clients.
  • Together with our Execution Desk partners, own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution to booking and post-trade checks, including risk disclosures, product marketing obligations and reporting execution details to Clients.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage and/or trading.
  • Strong knowledge of the Private Bank business, well-versed across all asset classes and investment products.
  • Dynamic and independent team player who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills in delivering exceptional client services, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to meet strict timelines and operate with strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing Clients' directed orders are a must.
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are required alongside effective judgement from risk and escalation perspectives.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.
