The Product Analyst in our team acts as a liaison between scrum teams and business end-users, ensuring timely delivery of product roadmap content and identifying risks, opportunities, and growth strategies.

  • The Legal & Regulatory Control Operations Product team is creating a foundation and infrastructure that embeds agile practices and processes created, impacted or led by Consumer and Community Banking Operations. We are responsible for aligning Product and Agile discipline with business strategies and priorities. Progress to agile evolution is assessed through an engagement model and supported with a cohesive set of resources and service offerings to generate value for Consumer and Community Banking Operations, internal servicing employees and ultimately our Chase customers.
  • The Legal & Regulatory Control Operations Product Analyst is a liaison between scrum teams and business end-users. In this role, you will ensure timely delivery of product roadmap content while identifying risks, challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs and application retirement plans.
  • As a product Manager in the Legal & Regulatory Control Operations Product team You will attend and actively participate in scrum meetings and remain engaged in scrum development, partnering with scrum teams and stakeholder to define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products as well as serving as an escalation point for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists team in ownership of features and solutions through end-to-end product development lifecycle (ideation, implementation, maintenance, release and support)
  • Apply strong product and customer knowledge of feature and ability to help the team drive allocation of highest value delivery requirements
  • Display strong understanding of product needs. Partners with PO/APO and team in the articulation of product through intake/discovery, the translation of initiatives, authoring/writing of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization of stories and grooming/maintenance of a healthy backlog
  • Ability to facilitate requirements discussions and help PO/APO to document, analyze and translate functional and non-functional requirements from product/customer roadmap into user stories, diagrams, buildable functions/features and other deliverables as needed as an outcome of product strategy (e.g., customer, operational, organizational, etc.)
  • Facilitates forums to drive the gathering of additional details, answering business questions and coordinating collaboration with business stakeholders to facilitate decisions
  • Actively contributes to meetings and work with product owners, scrum teams, project business sponsors, end-users and others as necessary to perform assignments
  • Assists the team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
  • Assists in QA and development of tests and ongoing testing activities, clarifying acceptance criteria and use cases as needed to meet team goals

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Min 12 years of product management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with globally distributed scrum teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of both Scrum and Waterfall execution strategies. Ability to manage backlog
  • Outstanding communication, listening, presentation and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate thru visual models (i.e. PowerPoint, Visio, Confluence etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills. Critical thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to seamlessly manage continuously shifting business priorities
  • Willing to challenge the status quo, and leverage change to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Positive attitude with strong relationship building and collaboration skills. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Agile/Scrum certifications a plus
