Vice President- Consumer & Community Banking Corporate Development - M&A Integration

As Vice President, you will be a member of a high-impact team responsible for executing on synergies of highly strategic acquisitions which result accelerating and transforming Chase's business. This is a highly-visible position on a fast-paced team and will have exposure to all aspects of M&A execution, operations, product, and strategy. As Vice President, you will learn about multiple aspects of JPMC's products, business models and operations with frequent exposure to senior leaders.

The Vice President of M&A Integration will report to the Integration lead for Chase Corporate Development. You will be an integral member of this Corporate Development team and will be fully involved in full life cycle of acquisitions.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled in Powerpoint / Excel with prior experience in developing board-level materials desired
  • Familiarity with reading and understanding legal documents
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage competing responsibilities and deadlines
  • Highly motivated / strong work ethic: Have a proven commitment to respond to and drive time sensitive / mission critical processes operating in a global and matrix-type organization
  • Sound judgment to act autonomously and identify emerging issues and escalate them as required
  • Familiarity with acquisitions and M&A processes
  • Ability to critically analyze and process high volumes of information and adapt to changing demands all;
  • Strong credibility, candor and good ability to speak directly even when posing dissenting viewpoint
  • Experience in mentoring associates

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Prior M&A or integration experience a plus
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills a plus

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. We're proud to lead the U.S. in credit card sales and deposit growth and have the most-used digital solutions - all while ranking first in customer satisfaction.

The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies, to assessing and planning entry into new markets, to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies, and more. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
