Our Government banking team generally focuses on clients with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. The team handles over 2,500 client relationships across the country. Job Responsibilities

  • Grow the business through client acquisition within the assigned markets.
  • Serve as Industry Leader to assigned regions to proactively partner with Industry Managers and sales team achieve goals.
  • Partner closely with Banking, Product team and Service partners in the market, as well as with Asset Management, and IB colleagues in order to introduce our prospects to our product capabilities.
  • Serve as a key Senior executive sponsor executing key client calling, within the region.
  • Drive top line revenues, pricing and profitability while maximizing efficiency for clients delivery of a value proposition to our prospects in order to convert them to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Government council on product enhancements and industry trends
  • Participate as a leader in account planning, portfolio reviews, business strategy, form a leadership perspective within each region
  • Accelerate brand recognition by presenting at strategic industry conferences and producing thought leadership materials.
  • Support strategic Treasury Sales consulting engagements and key deal opportunities/presentations
  • Identifying and qualifying prospects and introducing our treasury services team, banking team, and other product partners.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 10+ years of direct client management, treasury services sales, or similar industry related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking treasury services products and services
  • Must have demonstrated experience in leading and developing strategies cross-selling products and an ability and track record to meet and leading sales goals, strategies, and initiatives
  • Ability to partner well; develop and maintain solid positive & productive \"internal relationships\" with internal partners and senior management
  • Effective communication skills are critical - including proposal writing and public speaking
  • Business development skills are essential; arranging and executing business calls
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses strong creative solution and problem solving skills
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong sales and marketing skills coaching abilities including successful sales and marketing skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation
  • Strong creative solution and problem-solving abilities
