The Agency Lending Department comprise of Settlements, Contract Compare, Reference Data and Billing processes. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the day to day operations for settlement of trades and/or support contract compare and billing process.

The person should possess knowledge on working of capital market. He/She should have the ability to work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines and effectively work in teams. He/She should be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

The incumbent would be a in Leadership role within the Agency Lending team in Mumbai and would need to be a key contributor to building the Agency Lending Trade Management utility. As part of this role some of the key responsibilities of role would include the following -
  • Provide hands on leadership to the Agency Lending Trade Management/Settlements team
  • Knowledge of Trade Life Cycle and Settlements will be an added advantage
  • Ensure day to day operations are managed within the key operational parameters determined
  • Align priorities to the broader business strategy
  • Communicate and influence behaviour upstream and with partners to improve results
  • Prioritize and deliver results to achieve business objectives
  • Identify issues and escalate as needed
  • Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity
  • Identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/customers/stakeholders
  • Anticipate and promptly address client/customer/stakeholder needs
  • Collaborate across teams to leverage expertise, products and services to meet client/customer/stakeholder needs
  • Deliver solutions to meet client/customer/stakeholder needs which are aligned with firm priorities

  • Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Trade Settlements/ Banking Operations/ Custody business preferably in the Securities Servicing space

  • Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills
