As a Product Manager in Trade and Working Capital- Structured Working Capital, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Job responsibilities
- Develops a comprehensive product strategy and vision focused on Structured Working Capital (SWC), particularly Receivables and Inventory Finance, to deliver significant value to customers
- Oversees product-level governance, risk, and control environments, including product approvals, renewals, and cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Ensures that products have obtained the necessary regulatory, control, and compliance approvals prior to launch and for ongoing renewals and updates
- Manages discovery efforts and conducts market research to identify customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Takes ownership of the rollout of new systems, working collaboratively with Technology to align with product parameters and enhance the client experience
- Serves as the primary point of contact for second-line risk and product control partners, regulators, and local governance bodies
- Ensures readiness and coordinates reviews by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and internal audit teams
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that supports the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Builds the framework and tracks key success metrics for the product, such as cost, features and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Liaises with Finance partners to ensure accurate reporting of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for global Structured Working Capital (SWC)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Trade product management
- 5+ years of experience within Receivables Finance with Bank or Factoring company
- Experience in working closely with internal / external Technology teams to design systems for the bank
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience in working on innovative solutions for clients and developing the product to address bespoke client and market needs
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience in Inventory Finance, preferred
- MBA, preferred
