As a Control Manager - Vice President within the Trade & Working Capital team, you will lead the development of an enhanced control framework that supports a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment in the rapidly evolving digital landscape of J.P. Morgan Payments. Your role will involve fostering a proactive risk and control culture by leveraging proven evaluation methods. You will oversee end-to-end functions for Trade & Working Capital, ensuring the team conducts top-down risk analysis, detects control issues in real-time, and manages escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation effectively.

Job responsibilities:
- Foster a proactive risk and control culture by leveraging proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols.
- Review and analyze program-related data, such as Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), to support business programs and strategies.
- Provide leadership support for the end-to-end execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment, including managing control breaks and resolutions to minimize financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk.
- Collaborate with control colleagues across the firm, including business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions.
- Develop and implement Operational Risk Analytics to identify and measure risks, offering advice to senior management on trends and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, with proven expertise in delivering governance and oversight across business and risk disciplines.
- Over 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
- Strong understanding of control and risk management concepts, with the ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment in collaboration with business partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), with excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable effective influence and collaboration across various levels and time zones.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of trade products is a plus.
- Experience in developing metrics and transforming risk and control reporting and analytics using intelligent tools and automation is preferred.
