Job Summary:
As a Trading Services Analyst within our dynamic regional trading desk, you will act as a crucial link between the business, technology, control partners, and various global teams. Your role will involve ensuring smooth trade execution, investigating inquiries, monitoring trade execution flows, and performing trade reconciliations. You will also need to understand our trading platforms and systems thoroughly. Your self-motivation, strong sense of ownership, and attention to detail will be instrumental in managing trade lifecycle events and making a significant contribution to our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively ensure the timely and accurate capture of all transactions in the Risk Management Systems.
  • Drive intraday/end-of-day processes, including completeness and reconciliation checks, to ensure capture of new trading activity and general lifecycle events.
  • Monitor all controls to ensure they are diligently performed, completed, and signed off on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with global groups such as product control, settlements, drafting, sales, and sales support to resolve different types of breaks.
  • Participate and contribute to various team initiatives such as corporate action processes, deals migration, and monthly maturities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Basic knowledge of equity derivatives (options, swaps, risk sensitivity - Greeks).
  • In-depth knowledge as a self-starter, with the ability to execute on assignments independently.
  • A team player who demonstrates a strong work ethic and consistently exhibits a high level of professionalism.
  • Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business.
  • Self-motivated and able to deliver within tight timeframes and with minimal supervision, while working effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and risk management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
