Job Summary:
As a Transaction Processing Analyst in Custody Operations Settlements, you will be responsible for the operational management and control of daily workflows within Asset Servicing, corporate action, and income products. You will support trade processing platforms, interact with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensure the accurate processing of securities transactions across domestic and international markets. This role offers the opportunity to work with key personnel across our corporate centers and learn how to operate in a global economy. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and process transactions using proprietary systems and industry-wide vendor applications. You will be instilled with the drive to succeed in a challenging environment, enforcing the need for timely execution of deliverables. Your work will contribute to the strategic advice, capital raising, risk management, and liquidity extension that J.P. Morgan provides to its clients worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support trade processing platforms through the monitoring and resolution of complex issues.
  • Interact daily with clients, internal stakeholders, counterparties, traders, custodian banks, and senior management.
  • Identify trade discrepancies and mitigate risks related to the trade life cycle.
  • Verify manual instructions and payments, and review maker activity.
  • Reconcile and resolve Asset and Cash breaks independently.
  • Validate and process fees and invoices.
  • Take on challenging projects to promote process streamlining.
  • Master the complexities of equity and fixed income products and gain a solid understanding of our business model and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Composed and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to analyze complex and ambiguous issues and recommend creative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with an emphasis on risk mitigation and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
  • Good interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred.
  • VBA, AI Tool, and SQL knowledge is a plus.
