As a Senior Trading Services Associate in Syndicate Operations, you will play a crucial role in providing Middle Office and operational support from pre-pricing through closing with the Issuer and Syndicate. You will work closely with various stakeholders from Front to Back Office, ensuring seamless deal maintenance and processing while mitigating operational, regulatory, and economic risks. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of New Issuances coming to market.

Job responsibilities

  • Possess Strong attention to detail and understanding of Primary Markets and Syndicate transactions within the Fixed Income New Issue market space
  • Provide Middle Office and operational support from pre-pricing through closing with the Issuer and Syndicate members.
  • Ensure seamless deal maintenance, recording, and processing
  • Understanding of New Issue Syndicate flow from pre-pricing through close-out
  • Manage deal set-up inclusive of Cusip requests, DTC eligibility, TRACE Reporting, flow of funds review.
  • Mitigate operational, regulatory, and economic risks.
  • Manage high-value payments daily in accordance with Global Transfer Funds Policy.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and clients to resolve queries efficiently
  • Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives
  • Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures
  • Ensure all controls are diligently performed and signed off

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of New Issue Syndicate transactions.
  • Experience with Municipal Bonds, Corporate HG/HY, CLOs, GEM, ABS, RMBS, CMBS products.
  • Knowledge of front to back Operations process, including trade processing, confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with DTC UW Source, Euroclear, DTC settlement, TRACE reporting, Cusip eligibility, Treasury funding/day loan.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of urgency and initiate
  • Explain and challenge processes providing ideas for enhancements, as appropriate

  • Experience with AI and machine learning tools
