We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to play an active role in defining and executing our product roadmap. This position provides management and leadership in executing timely delivery of the Collections Product roadmap and prioritized book of work; responsible for driving execution of initiatives and managing stakeholders across the firm to ensure effective coordination and delivery; Manages within the Collections Platforms Area including key initiatives, backlog management and prioritization, application support and modernization, cross-product incoming and outgoing dependencies to support the CCB roadmap which is critical to the successful delivery of initiatives. Partners with PO's/APO's/Agility Leads/Designers and Legal Compliance Risk and Control partners across the firm to execute delivery while driving continuous improvements

The role of Product Manager is a complicated and ever evolving one that requires individuals in the role to be able to act with authority and interact with skill and confidence across the entire product, assigned Development Teams and the product stakeholders including Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Controls. With this assignment comes the responsibility for directly and actively managing the Area Product backlogs, partnering to ensure alignment of the development teams efforts with the priorities of the product, working to prioritize production support issues, and working within established norms in partnership with the agility leads and engineering leads. Additionally this role works across multiple products and across lines of business and functions to execute transformational strategies aligning with innovative capabilities and data analytics to deliver the target state.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The role of Product Analyst/ Feature lead is a complicated and ever evolving one that requires the analyst to be able to act with authority and interact with skill and confidence across the entire product, their assigned Development Teams and the product stakeholders including Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Controls.
  • This person should have the ability to look at all sides of the product in question extremely well, and must possess good communication and organization skills.
  • The successful candidate will be able to identify and engage the right people when needed and foster sense of urgency when facing headwinds that put timelines at risk.
  • The successful candidate will be required to understand and work within the product ownership model, combined with a level of business acumen to help drive requirements and prioritization.
  • Daily responsibilities will include leading of the development teams as well as partnering with the Collections Applications Support team to enable them to resolve issues and communicate effectively.
  • The successful candidate will be required to understand emphasize controls and monitoring in every initiative they support.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for directly and actively managing the development team backlogs, partnering to ensure alignment of the development teams efforts with the priorities of the product, working to prioritize production support issues, establishing the new set of norms in partnership with the agility leads and engineering leads and monitoring and utilizing the agility metrics to improve how they manage the priorities and backlog of assigned teams.
  • The successful candidate will be required to understand and become familiar with the governing policies controls and procedures that will allowed them to act with authority while at the same time engendering an atmosphere of collaboration and an observed enhanced diligence in attention to the details.
  • Continually drive Collections and Recovery products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility
  • Facilitate and drive solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to prioritize, deliver and align with senior management
  • Partner with senior product owners to progress the Collections product roadmap; act as voice of the customer and drive product vision in forums where senior product owners are not present

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 3+years product management experience, or equivalent - including defining user experience needs, writing user stories, creating product value propositions, developing features and benefits and developing roadmaps
  • Experience & comfort working within non-linear design & development processes
  • Experience in the design & development of service offerings that span multiple channels and form factors
  • Strong knowledge of Collections and Recovery applications and products across CCB
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to inform decisions and drive work forward
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile/scrum teams
  • Minimum BA/BS or equivalent level of education/experience required
