DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Support new business flows and automate existing ones to develop software. Design software solutions to meet requirements. Create unit tests and run tests on the applications created. Perform application reviews on peer applications that are promotion to production. Investigate production issues escalated by Production Management as the Subject Matter Expert in trading systems/applications. Conduct performance analysis of existing software to improve run times/overall performance of software systems and fix bottlenecks. Integrate software solutions with other existing software systems for either the consumption or publication of business data. Develop database queries for retrieving required business data for software systems. Perform in depth software overviews of delivered software projects including each software component/process to other developers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology and Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Java; Python; React; Typescript; REST; and JSON.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $160,432 - $185,000 per year.
