DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Engage and improve the lifecycle of Cloud Services from inception, design, deployment, and operations. Develop tools and automation to improve the efficiency of the platform and infrastructure. Automate repeated manual tasks. Analyze defects, propose improvements, and drive efficiencies in systems and processes. Develop new cloud engineering strategies and implementations for the firm. Responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of the cloud infrastructure and platform. Develop observability and telemetry tools. Improve the quality of technical engineering documentation. Debug and solve issues in a production environment. Participate in SRE on-call rotations and escalation workflows. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer, Security Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cloud Computing Architecture; Amazon Web Services (AWS); Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD) testing; Linux, networking and information security; and platform engineering and operations management. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Job Location: 3223 Hanover St., Palo Alto, CA 94304. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $165,547 - $180,000 per year.
