As a Senior Product Delivery Associate in Data Center Applied Engineering team, you are trusted with enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way. Work with cross-function teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value. In this role, you will utilize your experience in designing customized solutions to understand project requirements, implement them into the infrastructure, and they are met. As part of the Data Center Applied Engineering team, you will collaborate with network engineers to provide switching and routing services for JPMorgan Chase's global enterprise network, focusing in the data center portfolio. Your responsibilities will include planning, installing, managing, decommissioning, and maintaining the integration of the data center enterprise network. You'll be part of a close-knit team of technology enthusiasts and have the opportunity to connect with top experts in the field through JPMorgan Chase's global technology community and partnerships with leading technology firms worldwide.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
  • Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
  • Analyze the organization's business needs and then implement, and maintain the network infrastructure to support those business needs.
  • Create network plans, document existing and proposed network infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers.
  • Interface with LOBs, vendors, and other technical representatives on developing network solutions related to deploying network services in the data center.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
  • Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
  • Experience in product deployment processes
  • Bachelor's Degree or above, Minimum 5 years of technical and network design experience within a large enterprise environment,
  • 5 years of experience in various routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) & related experience with Cisco products (routing/switching--Nexus Series, Catalyst, etc.) or relevant experience in key competitor offerings (i.e. Arista, Juniper J/M/E Series)
  • Experience in analysis of business system requirements in a multi-platform distributed environment.
  • Experience with the technologies such as IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VPN, Security, QoS, Remote/Local Access, IBM SNA, Multi-Service (Voice and Video), Campus/MAN, WAN, Optical Networking, IP Services (DNS, Web Proxy, Socks), Multicast, Firewall, geographic and/or local server load-balancing, DMVPN
  • Excellent background in network implementation within a large-scale Data Center infrastructure including Cisco ACI fabrics, VXLAN EVPN fabrics and NSX.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. In-depth knowledge of engineering new ideas, IT governance and operational excellence.
  • Experience with Cisco and Arista products and concepts. Knowledge of AWS foundational products such as VPC, EC2, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, IGW, DX etc.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Network certifications (Cisco) preferred: CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing and Firewall technologies like F5, Checkpoint or Fortinet
  • Background in developing automation using Python or Ansible to deploy and manage network infrastructure.
