Senior Associate - Product Manager | Digital Payments

The Commerce Payments organization is a team of highly talented product leaders focused on delivering innovative payment experiences and platforms. We're transforming customer experiences, simplifying the ways we do business, and driving toward product excellence.

As a Senior Associate Product Manager in the Commerce Payments organization, you will create a new, seamless payment experience for customers across the Chase digital payment and commerce experiences. We're looking for someone who is customer obsessed, has a strong passion to be part of "start-up" efforts in large companies, and a desire to be on the forefront of digital payments and technology. In this role, you will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle, defining and shipping a product end-to-end to 60 million+ customers.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to lead product development efforts
  • Define features and communicate requirements to engineering in clearly written documentation
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs, test plans and scripts
  • Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing and Quality assurance to certify the release as production ready
  • Work closely with the analytics team to track metrics and create performance reports
  • Manage product backlog, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization
  • Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products
  • Ability to think strategically while still being comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions
  • Proven track record of managing risk and controls
  • Flexibility to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, Computer Science or comparable field of study
  • Experience in online payments including digital wallets and money movement
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
