The Operations Senior Associate will report to the Head of Operations of CB Payments Ltd. and will support with both strategic & operational work required to build and scale the operations function in the UK and drive country growth initiatives.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Identifying opportunities for improving and scaling the operations function in the UK, working with the wider operations and engineering teams to implement changes
- Getting deep into our operational and regulatory reporting data, helping to streamline and improve our data sets and dashboards and driving insights
- Driving daily business operations for CB Payments Ltd. to support all lines of business, while managing consistent performance on targets
- Helping to develop execution of local operational and outsourcing processes, procedures and reporting data to ensure successful delivery against regulatory requirements
- Supporting and driving the regulatory and product operations activities for CB Payments Ltd, working closely with the UK Head of Operations
- Support in the execution of critical ad hoc projects, on matters impacting the local business (spanning operations, growth & strategy and regulatory)
- Support in putting together internal and external materials for regulatory meetings
- Program manage discrete cross-functional initiatives, which may be part of broader projects
- Interpret data and use it to make recommendations on projects and work streams
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 5+ years experience in financial services / management or strategy consulting / operations strategy / data analysis
- Great analytical and problem solving skills; the ability to get deep in data sets and reporting metrics and produce meaningful insights and actions
- High attention to detail: ability to produce content that could be shared externally with light review
- The ability to support with developing new processes and improving existing processes to create efficiencies
- Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of business functions, with an emphasis on senior management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, Looker (ability to write SQL to self-serve insights, interrogate data and produce dashboards)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment

- Deep subject matter expertise and experience in crypto
- Advanced understanding of Google apps, JIRA
