As a Vice President within the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Risk Wholesale Credit Risk Loan Loss Forecasting team, you will influence wholesale credit loan loss estimation while collaborating with CIB Risk executives and stakeholders across the firm to articulate methodology assumptions and forecasting outcomes within quarterly allowance and stress testing exercises. Our team is responsible for supporting the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) loan loss allowance and Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR) stress testing loan loss forecast for the firm's wholesale loan portfolio representing over $1 trillion of client exposure across various lines of business and industry segment. We are responsible for the integrity and validity of the quantitative methodology and qualitative risks incorporated in the firm's wholesale credit loan loss estimates as well as the delivery of insightful, high quality analytics to senior stakeholders within CIB and across the firm.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a part of a diverse, talented and global team that plays an integral role in multiple Risk and Finance Firmwide programs
- Review top level and loan level detailed allowance and stress testing results for reasonability and accuracy
- Exercise analytical skills to assess risks and support estimation of qualitative loan loss reserves, which consider management's judgment of industry and portfolio-specific data, and captures emerging and/or idiosyncratic risks
- Calculate, analyze and communicate modeling behaviors and parameters (including Probability of Default, Loss Given Default, Exposure at Default, and Rating Migration) and how these translate into loss estimates
- Develop a deep understanding of the allowance and stress testing estimation processes and inform methodology across the CECL and CCAR forecasting exercises
- Support portfolio trend and sensitivity analysis to various macroeconomic scenarios, portfolio 'what-if' stresses and assumption changes
- Collaborate with partners across the Firm, including the lines of business, and the Corporate Finance, External Reporting, Quantitative Research, Model Risk and Technology organizations
- Prepare and present materials to senior management and other Firmwide stakeholders, adapting messages to different audiences
- Stay up to date on the latest Risk related news and trends across the financial services industry, markets, politics, etc. and have the thought space to anticipate potential impact(s) on the firm
- Think creatively, challenge the status quo and deliver enhancements across a multitude of strategic objectives impacting the CIB Wholesale Credit Risk team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting) or quantitative discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience within financial services or banking sector
- Familiarity with Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans and lending related commitments
- Knowledge of the CECL credit loss accounting standards, CCAR regulatory framework and stress testing
- Experience with data analysis and manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to work across diverse groups to understand issue drivers and business requirements while collaborating with partners to build consensus and execute the agreed plans
- A developed leadership presence capable of effective messaging to colleagues across all levels
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently in a flexible, fast paced and exciting environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in a concise manner for management consumption
- Motivated, detail oriented and a robust sense of personal responsibility
- Exceptional desktop skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications
