Join J.P. Morgan's Regulatory Reporting Team: Lead Automation and Compliance Initiatives with Cutting-Edge Tools!

As a Regulatory Reporting Operations - Associate within JPMorgan, you are expected to work with Operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Compliance Requirements for automation and facilitate the smooth delivery of projects, ensuring the necessary controls, reviews and documentation are met. You are also expected to provide regular updates on projects to key stakeholders, together with any associated risks and issues. There are opportunities to self-script workflows to automate / expedite data validation / controls, using various digital tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage projects or sub-projects, including planning, documentation of requirements, progress monitoring, test planning/execution, implementation, and stakeholder management.
  • Work on Data Analysis to validate data.
  • Work closely with SMEs to understand business processes and user requirements.
  • Review requirements with Compliance, as required.
  • Execute remediation actions committed to regulators.
  • Run Controls / Validations to check quality of reports
  • Work with Compliance / LOBs to maintain Legal Ledger/ Regulatory Report Guidebooks

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Continuous learning and growth mindset
  • Strong problem solving and effective communication skills to manage stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts considering many variables including risk/controls, business needs and resources.
  • Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute under pressure.
  • Possession of, or a willingness to develop, an understanding of Regulatory Requirements.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in any of the following: IT Business Analysis, Project / Program Management, Data Analysis
  • Experience in using any of the following: Alteryx, UIPath, Tableau
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial industry preferred.
