Are you interested in contributing to Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) from regulatory perspectives?
As a Regulatory Reporting Operations - Associate within Market Operations, you will be responsible for 1.automation and regulatory/business/market initiated changes on Legal Ledgers and Regulatory reports owned by Tokyo CIB Market Operations, and 2. ensuring Legal Ledgers/Regulatory Reports produced are meeting Regulatory requirements. The Team work closely with internal stakeholders such as other operations teams that support specific line of buisnesses, Compliance, and Technology teams to understand/interpret regulations, analyze, plan, execute and monitor projects. As an associate, you are expected to work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/Compliance and come up with Requirements for automation and ensure smooth delivery of projects and required controls / reviews/ documentations are put in place. You are also expected to provide regular updates on projects to key stakeholders, together with any risks / issues associated. There are opportunities to self-script workflows to automate / expedite data validation / controls, using various digital tools.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage projects or sub-projects, including planning, documentation of requirements, progress monitoring, test planning/execution, implementation, and stakeholder management.
- Work on Data Analysis to validate data.
- Work closely with SMEs to understand business processes and user requirements.
- Review requirements with Compliance.
- Execute remediation actions committed to regulators.
- Run Controls / Validations to check quality of reports
- Work with Compliance / LOBs to maintain Legal Ledger/ Regulatory Report Guidebooks
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong problem solver and effective communicator to manage stakeholders.
- Strong business-level Japanese and English
- Ability to prioritize projects and efforts considering many variables including risk/controls, business needs and resources.
- Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute under pressure.
- Capability to understand Regulatory Requirements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Data Analysis skills
- Alteryx/UIPath/Xceptor/Tableau skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial industry preferred.
