The role as the Regulatory operation business analyst associate will work on routine tasks for regulatory report enhancement, data source issue identify or improvement. As BA role, it's also required to support on any business and other stakeholder for any new product, project or initiative implementation on reg report.
Job responsibilities
- Works closely with lob reg report users to draw the user report requirement from banking into SBE(specification by example).
- Study and understand all reg report operation, and issue, pain point on reg report processing. including data quality issue, system behavior, regulation specifications.
- Produce and work out internal validation IA tool for local regulatory reports validation and cross check.
- Adhere to all control standards including local regulatory requirements and global policies.
- Control Self Assessments are completed thoroughly and on time.
- Have a connection with local industry & local regulator with evident proof on market influence.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 3+ years bank/financial industry working experience.
- Have strong analysis skills on data, business scenario and digital tool apps. Obtain skill license on excel, altreyx, python is preferred.
- Have the knowledge background on banking business and product.
- Be familiar with local regulation on reg report, ensure all the BA SBE analysis and review on user requirement is in line with local regulation.
- Fluent in speaking, reading & writing skills in both English & Chinese Mandarin.
