Futures and Derivatives Clearing Operations is a team that spans 17 locations covering all post-execution activities across Cash, OTC and ETD Derivatives as well as handling all Clearing and Financing activities for a global client base. The team drives innovation, transformation and change management across industry initiatives, strategic programs both internally and externally. FDCO forms part of the Markets business within the firm wide Corporate and Commercial Bank franchise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing product and Instrument - Setup , Maintenance of Product and Instrument , Corporate Action processing:
  • Analysis and remediation of reference data within the Cleared Derivatives Tech systems.
  • Communication - ability to build strong relationships with many disparate groups across the Equity/F&O/OTC stack and influence other teams to ensure deliverables are prioritized.
  • Ability to manage data discrepancies to get clarity and focus on issues/bottlenecks
  • Reporting and Analysis, Query handling and projects
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with the Business partners as well as the people in the Client support groups
  • Design and develop metrics and dashboards for senior management review of reported data
  • Actively pursue improvements to processes focusing on Controls, STP & KPIs
  • Oversight to exception processing and supervision of daily regulatory obligations

Required qualification, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree /Post Graduate Degree in Finance preferably in Operations in Investment Banking/ Financial services firms
  • Exposure to Corporate Action processing, Instrument Set up's in GMI
  • Analytical and detailed: strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy; Solid intellectual capacity for process improvements.
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility; Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practices
