As a Vice President in the Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) at J.P. Morgan, you will play a pivotal role in the Securities Services Product for Investment Management firms. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver account reference data, ensuring account and counterpart readiness for our IMOS clients. Leading the Client Account Services (CAS) IMOS team in Bangalore, you will oversee services for both global and regional clients, handling diverse client and market account reference data requests, including product expansions, new account launches, and onboarding new third parties. This role demands extensive collaboration with key stakeholders across business, product development, operations, and technology to execute strategies and deliverables effectively. Your operational focus will be on enhancing the client and operational experience by implementing straight-through processing within our robust operating model and ecosystem, ensuring accurate and efficient market and account setup.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the CAS IMOS Bangalore team to provide account reference data services, ensuring readiness for global and regional clients.


  • Oversee client and market data requests, including product expansions, new account launches, and third-party onboarding.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders in business, product development, operations, and technology to align strategies and deliverables.


  • Enhance client and operational experiences by implementing straight-through processing for efficient market and account setup.


  • Partner with controls and governance teams to ensure compliance with governance and operational risk standards.


  • Analyse operational data to support fact-based decision-making.


  • Drive initiatives to implement the future state Operating Model, addressing evolving client needs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

  • Knowledgeable in Middle Office and Market functions.


  • Demonstrated leadership in managing projects with competing resources, priorities, and changing workflows.


  • Expert in fostering cohesive partnerships with clients, business, operations, technology, and stakeholders in a matrix organisation.


  • Experienced in leading a regional team with integration into a global framework.


  • Skilled in anticipating, analysing, and creating data for comprehensive insights and visual storytelling.


  • Proficient in logically analysing complex problems to meet daily SLAs.


  • Detail-oriented with the ability to challenge and improve existing operating practices.


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
