Quant Analytics Associate Senior - Commerce Payments Analytics

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your Analytics career to the next level.

As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior within the Data and Analytics team. You will work closely with Product Owners to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to promote customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and translate business needs into data models that support long-term solutions.
  • Create data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
  • Rationalize complex normalized data sets to facilitate ease of cross-organizational consumption.
  • Collaborate with the Line of Business (LOB) and the broader Data & Analytics (D&A) organization to understand business requirements and objectives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau, with experience in building and designing using Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, SQL DB, Snowflake, etc.
  • Proficient in explaining and converting complex dashboards into digestible information for audiences with varying levels of expertise.
  • Skilled at explaining and converting complex concepts into easily understandable information for diverse audiences. Intellectually curious and eager to learn new things with a focus on innovation.
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to complete projects/tasks independently.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Preferred knowledge of Adobe Analytics
  • Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance.
  • Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation (Tableau preferred)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and tools (AWS, Snowflake)
