Regulatory Services Analytics & Reporting
Regulatory Services Analytics & Reporting (RSAR) deals with multiple line of business within Regulatory Operations such as KYC, Customer fulfillment and Credit Bureau operations.
The requirements can vary from automation to deep dive into data to get analytical solutions for the business problem at hand. Not limited to analytics and automation, the team is also entrusted with very high priority projects such as Matter Require Attention (MRA's) and Action Plan (AP's). MRA's & AP's are very critical projects which involve auditors, LOB's and internal team. These projects require stakeholder management at it best and attention to detail.
The role provided extensive learning and an in-depth insight into the regulatory services world. As the name suggest its Regulatory services, all the work we do is highly governed internally and externally. This requires a detail knowledge in the process and the business.

Role Description
Working with the Regulatory Services Analytics & Reporting, the data Analyst will:-
- Analyze the problem the business is trying to solve for
- Execute data analysis using a combination of Alteryx, SAS, SQL & Python
- Translate data into meaningful business information
- Recommend solutions for solving complex business challenges
- Design and implement automation solutions using Python, VBA, UNIX or Control-M
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure high quality, iterative results are delivered in an Agile method
- Continually challenge yourself to expand and strengthen your skills
This role requires extensive interaction with business stakeholders, Project Managers and Business analyst. The candidate have to possess strong problem solving and reasoning skills as the business problem sometime is not clear or very straight forward. In-depth understanding of banking product is good to have.
The role will offer you an opportunity to dig deeper and enhance your banking product understanding and knowledge about day to day working knowledge of sub-products of the same like Regulatory Operations, KYC Operations, CBO organization etc.
Skills:
- Experience building process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with Python, C#, VBA, or SAS. Alteryx and Tableau experience is a plus.
- Ideal candidate would be an analytical thinker with superior data analysis skills and ability to project outcomes. Preferable to have experience with Alteryx. A background in data analytics & automation is a plus
- Must be able to quickly and objectively analyze and evaluate issues and form decisions
- Ideal candidate will be able to synthesize data into actionable insights and effectively communicate to all levels of management
- An acute attention to detail is required, specifically in terms of analytic rigor and output to eliminate the need for rework
- Must be able to operate in a self-directed manner; must have a strong desire to take the initiative to deliver superior results with urgency
- Ability to independently do root cause analysis independently.
- Understanding of the data infrastructure in a Financial Services organization
- Experience in partner management
- Experience in conflict management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or Master's degree in any of the Quantitative disciplines is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions.
- Understanding on banking product.
- Specialized training in managing human resources, preferred.
