As a Quality Assurance Senior Associate within the Quality Assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing Quality Assurance (QA) processes for selected operations within Markets Sales and Trading. This exciting opportunity enables you to deliver quality assurance insights to senior stakeholders for critical programs within the Markets businesses. You will collaborate with the QA Program Owner to review the QA program scope on a quarterly basis, update test scripts, and engage with all relevant parties through various meetings and forums. Additionally, you will work with stakeholders across functions and levels throughout the organization, and you will have the opportunity to present at senior forums as a representative for the QA Program Owner.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the QA Program Owner to review the QA program scope and updates relevant documentation for approval
  • Creates timelines and task lists for the offshore QA team
  • Manages objectives, scope, sampling methodology, scoring methodology, quality thresholds, QA results reporting, tracking of corrective actions, and records retention
  • Oversees testing pre-work and analyzes results
  • Acts as the oversight contact for the offshore QA team and handles escalations
  • Conducts interviews during the QA cycle and creates presentations of results for different audiences

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry with a background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management or compliance or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function/operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), with data analytics using Excel
  • Markets Trading and Sales Business knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders meaningfully and actionably
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage competing priorities effectively to achieve optimal results
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Independent decision-making using sound judgment
  • Solid critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions
  • Implementation skills
