The Chase Shopping team is creating an exciting new shopping destination for Chase customers that helps them level up how they shop and get more from the brands they love. We're using the power of Chase to bring new inspiration, value and convenience to millions of people.

As a Relationship Management Product Manager within Offers & Shopping, you will be a key player in the program growth and relationship management powered by key Chase Shopping third party vendors. The growth of these key programs will deliver a next generation shopping experience and value to Chase customers beyond the core financial product features. You will help craft the product strategy, develop market-leading product innovation, and steer the Chase Shopping consumer experience evolution, and more. You will also act as a principal relationship manager as it relates to the product, driving strategy and engagement with internal business stakeholders and external partners.

In this role, a successful candidate requires unique product & program management, business process, analytical and communication skills, put at the service of customers through high standards of execution, impact, and measurement. This role also requires the ability to drive results partnering with multiple cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, design, analytics, finance, business development, and others), both internal and external.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Combine vision, creativity, research, and data-based insights to transform the Shopping customer experience with product innovation through partnership with the Product Management team


  • Lead discovery on new initiatives, including determining and refining business value, customer value and working with internal and external tech partners for tech feasibility


  • Create and champion new ideas and use cases by getting feedback from internal and external stakeholders, user research, data & analytics, customer feedback loops and analyzing the competitive landscape


  • Build relationships and collaborate with external vendors and commercial partners


  • Develop partnership strategy, including overall vision, partnership economics, product integration and go-to-market initiatives


  • Provide metrics inputs to various reporting decks; communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders/sr. leaders- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cross functional projects, dependencies and bottlenecks


  • Partner with Legal, Risk, Controls and Compliance to ensure adherence with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, program/project management, technology, banking, corp dev, and/or strategy


  • Dive deep to get to the root cause of problems and to properly unfold solutions managing complex scenarios


  • Successfully exert single-threaded ownership on programs and initiatives, and lead them towards results and positive impact on customers and the business


  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams to align and solve shared problems


  • Ability to identify and address program execution needs in a fast-paced environment


  • Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and workstreams


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to stakeholders and partners


  • Great at balancing strategic & creative thinking and tangible execution

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent degree


  • Program/Project Management Certification


  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean
