As a Product Delivery Manager in Interchange and Network Fee Issue Management, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.

As a member of the Interchange and Fee Support team, you will be accountable for managing large scale programs that will help ensure our clients setup and day to day processing are achieving optimal cost of payments. This job will require a strong knowledge of controls. Your duties will include providing data-driven strategic insights that help our clients manage cost of payments and ensuring that their billing is accurate. This includes managing topics such as network fees, rules, new products, interchange, and merchant cost management for network fees. You will also partner across the firm on strategic initiatives that directly drive cost improvements.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
  • Participates in large scale initiatives that delve into researching and remediating issues with data or client setups that drive negative client experiences with their cost of payments
  • Influences and provides knowledge of our partners across the firm as it relates to managing network interchange and fee information
  • Validates data; Identifying underlying causes of data discrepancies
  • Oversees the governance for correct pricing and billing of interchange and payment brand fees
  • Identifies control gaps and implementing improvements to existing controls and/or adding new controls
  • Manages oversight of audits in our environment
  • Articulates insights to senior management, operations leadership and field teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
  • Working knowledge of payment network fees and interchange
  • Background in billing reconciliations
  • Superior attention to details and process / project management skills
  • Strong presentation (oral and written) skills. Ability to articulate complex problems, ideas, and solutions in a concise logical and relevant manner to all staff levels, including senior management
  • Strong personal time management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively organize tasks and motivate individuals (internal and external) around initiatives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Strong knowledge of payment network fees and interchange
  • Working knowledge of Analytical Tools / Coding (Tableau, SQL, Python)
  • Prior Merchant Services or Acquirer experience
