Job responsibilities

  • Supports delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
  • Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes key themes and metrics on product performance, user experience research, and market analysis to inform decision-making
  • Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
  • Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
  • Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
  • Engages with Technology and Operations to refine requirements and drive delivery
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, risk, controls) to ensure compliance with both JPMC policy and regulatory commitments
  • Contributes to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Documents blockers and impediments to aid with dependency management and resource availability
  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and timelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Familiarity with payment and receivable products
  • Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle
  • Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Strong communication/presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences
  • Operate with minimal guidance and oversight, capable of embracing ambiguity
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities and challenges, and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure
  • Exposure to operational management and change readiness workstreams
  • This role supports US Federal government contracts that require, U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent status

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Quick learner who is able to work well with Technology and Operations partners
  • Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to rapidly understand emerging technologies and business models and integrate into public sector opportunities
  • Resourcefulness to filter a large number of opportunities into the most impactful engagements
  • Understanding of the Federal public sector
  • Undergraduate degree
