As a Payment Lifecycle Manager III - Cash Asset Management (APAC) within our dynamic and growing team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging area. You will collaborate with the Cash Asset Management Operations Teams and Service Owners to ensure the right cash is in the right place, at the right time, with maximum transparency. Your role will involve leading the team in ASIA hours, participating in location initiatives, identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement, and taking ownership of incidents/issues. You will also be responsible for managing people and building strong relationships with key partners. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in ASIA hours to meet expectations of all service beneficiaries. In particular for engagement with Service Leads and escalation responsibilities but also client experience, risk and controls, resiliency, process improvements and standardization of the service offering
  • Participate in location initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes and working practice
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and improve services offering across Manila and other MBM locations using a data driven approach
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for issues and follows through to resolution with timely and relevant communications
  • Manage People - Identify, assess, manage and report the performance of operational individuals within the ASIA Manila shift
  • Act as escalation point for all Asia shift Manila Team Members across services
  • Take ownership of incidents/issues when they occur including providing timely updates to senior managers and engaging appropriate contacts and stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners (Settlement Operations, Finance Controllers, Product Controllers, Cash Asset Class Controllers)
    Be Involved and own key global strategic initiatives
  • Encourage and demonstrate a diverse, inclusive, positive and sustainable culture

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • 10+ years experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Finance or Accounting, performing in a senior level people management capacity
    Exemplifies the highest standards of ethics and integrity with strong work ethic.
  • Lead, develop and performance management of a team, as part of a broader organization
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for issues and follows through to resolution with timely and relevant communications
  • Promotes an inclusive work environment, respects individuals at every level and leverages an agile and flexible style

  • Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally at all levels to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes
  • Analytical mindset with ability to perform meaningful analysis, understand and explain underlying drivers (i.e., tell the story behind the numbers); possesses strong data centric and problem-solving mindset
  • Change management - challenge the status quo and be disciplined in implementing project plans; Exemplifies desire to receive feedback and continuously improve, demonstrating a growth mindset

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Experience of Business Intelligence capability such as Tableau/Alteryx/Qlikview etc.
  • Data Management - able to effectively apply best practices in data management without compromising speed and quality
  • Data Analysis - skills to source, analyze and visualize large data sets that leads to usable outcomes
  • Project Management - execution focused and risk aware, a problem solver who can articulate clear and workable solutions
  • Builds/promotes a client/customer centered organization; Able to work comfortably and confidently under pressure and deadlines
  • Experience of Industrialization of new processes
  • S99 Qualification

Shift Schedule: 8am-5pm PHT
