Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide monitoring and maintenance of various application infrastructures as the primary responsibility of this position. Act as a single point of contact for the Line of Business and external service providers for all applications and connectivity-related issues.
  • Involve close coordination and working with other Control Room operations sites to ensure business goals and objectives are met.
  • Oversee monitoring of all critical Payment Systems, Links, and Transmissions. Monitor alerts in Business Alert Management (BAM) or other monitoring tools, including our most complex and advanced applications.
  • Identify and report business/client/technology impacting incidents which warrant escalation to the Incident Manager. Engage with LOB Management, Production Support, and other Technical support groups to resolve and remediate alerts and incidents. Notify upstream and downstream impacted operation managers of business impact.
  • Progressively, advance the automation of Command Center functions.
  • Proactively, identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks.
  • Support monitoring for all payment applications and products in this role.
  • Efficiently, manage clearing house and federal reserve back extensions.
  • Oversee and manage start of day and end of day processes for all applications and branches.
  • Effectively, manage a team of 3 Analysts performing monitoring activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of operations experience and mainframe technical experience
  • 3+ years of management experience with a small team
  • Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure and work independently
  • Proven experience to deliver effective escalation and timely communication
  • Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships required to leverage parts of the organization as required
  • Ability to manage multiples priorities and prioritize workload accordingly to meet key deliverables
  • Should be open for Night shift

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledgeable of banking functions, specifically, in one or more of the following areas: Payments, Liquidity, Sanctions, Cash Account Management, Fraud, Risk and Controls
  • Create executive presentations (both individual slides and structured presentations)
  • Tableau and Alteryx knowledge preferred but not required
