Role Summary

The Vice President of Partner Marketing will lead the development, execution and measurement of revenue-generating co-marketing programs with Partners. This role will play a key role in driving growth by leveraging different types of partners to promote our payment solutions to small, medium, and enterprise-size businesses. You will use your passion, experience, and vision to build and lead partner co-marketing campaigns and support our aspiration to become the #1 payments platform for businesses in Canada.

You are a highly talented, analytical marketing leader with proven success strategizing data-driven campaigns through partners. You have a proven track record of success acquiring, engaging and retaining SMB's, middle market and large enterprise clients through integrated, multi-channel campaigns. The ideal candidate has experience defining the co-marketing strategy and executing B2B campaigns through partners.

Success in this role will require leveraging deep business customer and partner insights, as well as end-to-end performance metrics to develop co-marketing strategies by partner, build deep understanding of the effectiveness, reach, and costs of partner marketing activities, and jointly with our Partner Sales and Relationship Management teams build scalable programs that increase the efficiency of our investments in partner marketing.

Your charismatic nature and ability to be a storyteller will enable you to socialize strategies, campaigns and reporting with key stakeholders to drive excitement internally and externally. You have an intellectual curiosity to stay apprised of industry and competitive trends, a desire to employ innovative marketing techniques, and a natural ability to collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Business Development, Relationship Managers, Marketing leaders, and other teams to ensure there's alignment on business priorities so you can do what's right for our partners and their merchants.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success with extensive experience in driving profitable growth through partners.

What you will do:

  • Drive revenue marketing strategy through Partners in Canada and align all cross-functional activities and output to overarching marketing strategy that drives revenue growth.
  • Create world-class co-marketing programs that scale lead generation and brand awareness. Own the systems and reporting will be required to scale and correctly attribute partners' contributions and program ROI. - Drive new merchant acquisition by developing a data driven, integrated annual partner marketing plan to exceed business objectives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and support with, but not limited to, Sales, Relationship Managers, Business Development, Communications, Operations, Channel Partners, and Data Analytics
  • Focus on the conversion funnel to relentlessly optimize placement and performance to drive new growth, engage current clients and retain likely-to-churn merchants, through appropriate campaigns that serve each segment of funnel.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to develop and execute multi-channel acquisition strategy via partners through world-class, client facing content, events, webinars, landing pages, direct mail, and campaign collateral that provide partners with the means to drive leads back to Chase.
  • Leverage partner profitability and profit potential to identify, quantify, and prioritize opportunities by partner. Segment partners into tiers that identify the appropriate level of marketing support for each tier.
  • Socialize program strategy, calendar of marketing activities, and campaign performance to key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Be an expert in our partners and their needs, representing the voice of our partner to cross-functional teams, while influencing our partners by representing the voice of Chase.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B Partner / Channel Marketing; prior experience in Payments, E-commerce, Financial Services, and Retail preferred.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience driving ROI-based B2B marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing data-driven approaches to develop strategy from the ground up for customer acquisition and engagement via partner channels
  • Strong strategic marketing and creative thinking capabilities to connect the Chase benefits to partner and merchants' needs
  • Strong emotional intelligence that drives respect and trust amongst peers and cross-functional teams, to build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and to influence effectively across different partners and teams.
  • Proven effectiveness in presenting and influencing at the executive level and driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to navigate a highly complex organization with ease
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passionate, highly collaborative and calm under pressure to manage rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong sense of ownership with commitment to delivering high-quality communications under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Bachelor degree required, Master's degree preferred
