Market Data Services is responsible for delivering market data across JPMorgan Chase. This includes vendor and financial management, engineering and development, connectivity, risk and control, and product support. The team provide consultancy to development teams on how to build high performance applications using market data to help manage risk, discover, and exploit trading opportunities. Additionally, the team maintains relationships with third party vendors for the use and management of their commercial off the shelf software use in the firm.

Markets Trading Venues team performs the governance of third party trading applications and fulfills the requirements as defined for the SEAL application owner role.

Job Description:

Product Portfolio Operations for third-party trading applications responsible for reducing risk through onboarding and maintenance of application data in firm tools. Working in conjunction with the Information Owners team, Support teams, and vendors to ensure applications are available and meets firm requirements, including all required firm wide tools and programs. Address ad hoc projects as they arise within the risk management work interior to the firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure review of applications is completed on time and all raised findings are addressed and remediated within SLAs
  • All applications to be on-boarded in the firm-wide inventory systems and access management request tools and certification systems in a timely basis.
  • Manage Vendor relationships and applications.
  • Address firm-wide technology risk initiatives in a timely basis
  • Arrange any packaging requirements.
  • Ensure application's information is accurately inventoried and documented in the firm-wide tools and validate recertification of application details on cycle.
  • Obtain and recertify Vendor user lists per Company guidelines.

Essential Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong time management skills: efficient prioritizing tasks and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard.
  • Detailed understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Detail oriented, with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of technology disciplines.
  • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods

Preferred, but not required:

  • SNOW knowledge
  • Experience in Investment Banking Sector or related financial industries
  • Understanding of Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • JIRA tool experience
  • Confluence experience
