As a Market and Product Expansion Associate within the Payments team, you will play a crucial role in supporting both in-country and regional cash management product strategy for the Thailand market, covering a client base which consists of Multinationals and Local Corporates. The product range includes domestic and international transactional banking services, cash investments, cash concentration structures, and foreign exchange.

In this role, you will report to the Thailand Head of Product Management and participate in new product development and enhancement, facilitating product specific strategies and product definitions, maintaining product standardization, along with competitor, platform and data analysis. You will work closely across different line of business such as Operations / Sales / Client Service and Implementation / Technology / Risk / Legal / Compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support country roll out of regional product launches also work on launching Real Time Payments in the country and co-ordinate on such initiatives globally
  • Develop basic and innovative products in line with Ready to Launch
  • Work with Sales and Bankers in development of solution that meet client requirements
  • Work with Operations to improve efficiency and Straight Through Process
  • Work with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Operations to successfully manage products
  • Partner with Client Services, Implementation and Operations to solve day-to-day client issues
  • Monitor produce performance: Revenues, Volume, Value and ensure compliance of all products with local regulations, both internal & external
  • Assist in developing plans to close local product gaps in order to enhance our competitiveness
  • Develop related product documentation and regularly review to ensure it is up to date
  • Lead the product development initiatives for Thailand by identifying appropriate steps to deliver the strategy and by working with all the stakeholders across the business
  • Develop partnerships with our Sales and Bankers to engage with our clients, prospects and increase their understanding of our product and solution capabilities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experienced in financial service industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently
  • Degree qualification or equivalent relevant on-the-job experience within wholesale financial services
  • Service minded with good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in product development/management within transactional banking and Real Time Payments would be advantage
  • Proven track record in developing innovative financial products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
