As a Market and Product Expansion Associate in Merchant Services Commercialization, you contribute significantly to your team's success and test the regulatory requirements for our products. You work across the organization, build critical relationships, and prepare the products to go to market.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop, influence and manage successful relationships with key stakeholders across the organization including Product, Tech, Sales, Compliance, Marketing etc.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively tailor collateral to specific markets.
  • Perform market research to understand the local needs and requirements for product improvements, competitive position, pricing etc.
  • Analyze metrics and data sets to design reports that support critical business decisions and strategy.
  • Transform product and technical specifications into tools and resources to support Payment Sales and Clients.
  • Communicate regulatory guidelines to Product Managers to ensure our products meet risk and compliance requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Advise on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to the regulatory environment to ensure our products meet all necessary risk and compliance checks.
  • Supports the team on evaluating market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and client behavior
  • Develops a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively tailor collateral to specific markets
  • Applies the defined regulatory testing procedures and uses discretion to identify and respond to complex cases when it is unclear whether a product meets market requirements
  • Contributes to the development of the regulatory testing process and identifies inefficiencies for product improvements; Builds and maintains working relationships with stakeholders across distinct functions including Legal, Risk, Compliance Operations, and Technology

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise working in Product, Technology, or Project Management
  • Depth in stakeholder engagement skills
  • Developing knowledge of risk management and controls, regional and local nuances, and governance requirements
  • Experience in developing and executing regulatory testing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Experience in the digital space to drive support of strategic initiatives across the business
  • Experience driving parts of large-scale transformations; Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Data Management & Analysis; Experience effectively communicating complex concepts to senior leadership while clearly identify critical actions and decision points to support strategic objectives
  • Experience identifying, structuring, and executing own large-scale programs aligned to program and roadmap measurable objectives
