Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives

The Operational Analyst will be primarily responsible for processing loan transactions. They are expected to maintain the agreed quality for the transactions processed. They should also comply with set guidelines, procedures, rules and regulations; work as a team to achieve SLA's for the process and individual targets; and work towards process improvement.

Qualifications - External

- Graduates with at least 1 year of experience preferably in banking industry.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to act on his / her own to solve problems and make decisions.

- Ability to interact effectively with various levels of bank personnel.

- Strong interpersonal and customer focus.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work with limited supervision, receiving minimum instructions on new assignments.

- Ability to work in a team environment and flexible to work night shift.

- Strong knowledge of MS-office applications.

Job responsibilities:

  • Review Loan documents and process transactions as per SLA
  • Perform activities related to loan servicing such as draws and payments
  • Interpret and understand market instructions pertaining to loan servicing requests and perform due diligence to comply with the requirements
  • Performs required research on the received request within the stipulated timelines
  • Follows up on deficient documentation with relevant stake-holders
  • Makes informed decisions regarding the transaction processing
  • Be an SME in the process
  • Meet and exceed the turnaround time and accuracy rate as per the specified target
  • Ensure adherence to the quality control standards that have been set for the process

Eligibility requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting preferred
  • 1 year - 2.5 years of work experience, preferably in Banking/Mortgage/Financial Analysis and Loan Operations
  • Candidate should be open to work in shifts
  • Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stake-holders and across levels
  • Manage the complex requests with minimum supervision and independently make the decisions related to the process
  • Good understanding of loan life cycle
  • Demonstrate the attributes of flexibility and accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environment
  • Attention to details
