Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to credit support services staff to ensure high service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage resources and capacity across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization with no impact on business operations.
  • Identify situations requiring escalation and take quick action in high-risk, complex environments.
  • Prepare KPIs and KRIs, and regularly publish and present data to senior leaders and management.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

- Bachelors or Master's Degree (e.g. B.COM, BBA, MBA, MCA, etc.) with 11 years of post-qualification experience or Graduate with Minimum of 13 years of work experience in a financial institution or managing people in a corporate setting
- Experience and Strong working knowledge of various aspects of banking products such as, Client Onboarding, AML, Credit, Loan operations, Underwriting or Investment Banking knowledge
- Manage 20 + team members and provide regular coaching sessions and feedback and responsible for their career progression
- Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met
- Leadership - adapts to a changing environment, monitor progress and timely deliver the results. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure.
- Accountability - proven ability to support execution of deliverables / projects. Seeks ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of work performed. Willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
- Project management experience, including identifying steps needed to complete project, executing major milestones, summarizing findings, and presenting to senior management.

- Strong influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management, both written and verbal
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
