Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain Azure-hosted infrastructure, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
- Design and implement automation processes using Terraform for Azure.
- Conduct proactive monitoring to identify and address potential infrastructure issues.
- Maintain and test backup and recovery processes for data protection and business continuity.
- Manage software updates to ensure systems are current and secure.
- Provide support for cloud-based server and SQL database environments.
- Collaborate on IT projects, offering technical expertise throughout their lifecycle.
- Partner with the Cyber Security team to implement security changes and remediation work.
- Support the deployment of new applications and infrastructure, evaluating emerging technologies.
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects to successful completion.
- Provide training and support to IT team members in specialized areas.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in Azure cloud services with advanced experience.
- Expertise in using Terraform for automation and orchestration of cloud resources.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security configurations in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and Python for task automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure compute services, networking, and management tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and deployment processes.
- Ability to develop scripts and tooling in Python and a shell scripting language (Bash or PowerShell).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with both Azure and AWS environments.
