As a Payroll Associate in the Employee Digital and Service Experience (EDSE) Team you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll for all of JPM entities across the Benelux & Nordics Region.

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely end to end processing and delivery of monthly payroll. Ensuring adherence to JPM's internal controls including scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
  • Responsible for ensuring that monthly tax payments and compliance requirements are met for all entities covered by Benelux Payroll.
  • Display a strong customer service ethos and competently respond to and resolve employee payroll queries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Foster and develop collaborative working between key internal/external stakeholders particularly Finance and HR to ensure seamless payroll processing and that all local / regional requirements are met.
  • Partner with external payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery as well as appropriate governance.
  • Evaluate payroll processes and procedures for continuous improvement. Identify risks/gaps and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
  • Comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensure that a high level of confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 5 years payroll experience, preferably in an international / matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Luxembourg taxation and payroll regulations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills with thorough attention to detail.
  • Team player, professional and proactive approach to work, positive attitude with an ability to communicate across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently with broad range of stakeholders.
  • Pro-active in raising issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Fluency in French and English.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Apsal (any other payroll software system desirable)
