As an HR Operations Associate based in Luxembourg or Amsterdam, you will manage HR operations activities across Belgium and the Netherlands. You will collaborate closely with HR functions, oversee centralized execution, perform local activities, and serve as a subject matter expert in complex cases. Your role will involve building strong relationships and partnering with various HR teams, business units, and functional colleagues to ensure consistency and implement best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of HR operations in both locations.
  • Handle employee queries via the HR query tool and mailboxes, coordinating resolutions and managing escalations.
  • Work closely with the payroll team to provide input and oversight on monthly payroll.
  • Assist with new joiners, transfers, and mobility movers, including Day 1 HR induction.
  • Manage documentation related to local activities, coordination of records management, ensure firm's requirements are applied in the creation, storage, retention, and destruction of JP Morgan records. Ensure correct filing protocol using the firm's approved data storage tools.
  • Support/ risk & control oversight and responsible for regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Assist with audit preparation, active involvement in External and Internal Audits
  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy requirements and provide legal and regulatory expertise for the Belgium/Netherlands region.
  • Ensure detailed Standard Operating Procedures are documented for all work streams.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements through digitalization and automation and
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operations and initiatives and engage in HR projects and new book of work items, as required.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch and Belgian labor laws and market practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in planning and executing projects related to recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and legal changes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with HR systems and tools for process improvement experience, preferably in an international, matrix-managed company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • French language would be a plus
