As a Merchant Services Business Development Executive within the Payments Sales organization, you will lead a team responsible for driving accelerated growth across our largest Merchant Services portfolio in the United States. The Business Development Executive will collaborate and partner closely with the Global Corporate Bank (GCB) and the Merchant Services Relationship Management team. You will drive pro-active and effective collaboration to successfully engage clients and prospects and deliver opportunities with our Merchant Services solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Development professionals to establish end-to-end sales and prospect account planning strategies for new business sales
- Identify and execute on new revenue generation/preservation opportunities
- Drive key performance business benchmarks; Be informed on the competitive market and client needs to identify and help solution for product and service delivery gaps
- Lead as the "Voice of the Client" for Merchant Services through knowledge of the products and services and client needs to influence and drive the product and customer delivery roadmap and end to end experience
- Maintain and lead a strong controls sales environment including pipeline management, performance management, pricing and financial management including all applicable process/procedures and audit events
- Leverage expert cross-functional business knowledge, financial acumen, strong internal relationships, and exceptional leadership skills to make significant and impactful decisions
- Represent the \"voice of the client\" for Merchant Services for the segment and manage revenue vulnerability and client loss through a deep understanding of the client's needs and identification of product and service delivery gaps
- Support the goals and direction of Merchant Services, GCB, and the firm by being a strategic thinker
- Demonstrate best in class communication skills, including influencing, negotiation and collaboration
- Lead by example, by applying a consultative selling approach to cultivate references and develop appropriate product solution recommendations as a player and coach to the team.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Merchant Services business model, products and services
- Strong executive presence and experience speaking in public forums
- Proven success and active leadership and direct management to a geographically diverse sales team
- High-level of success in cross-selling products and a track record of meeting or exceeding product penetration goals
- High-level of success in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
- Proven progressive leadership, management, execution, coaching, and influencing skills, particularly at C-Level; proven leadership skills in developing and building collaborative partnerships X-LOB with key stakeholders to achieve firm-wide objectives
- Proven experience utilizing data and information to drive business results, compelling recommendations and inform effective decision making
- Up to 50% Travel Required
