As an Executive Director and Head of Asia Private Bank Events within the dynamic Private Bank team, you will take charge of the development and execution of client event activities, from their inception to evaluation. Your role will be instrumental in formulating the event strategy for the Asia markets, guaranteeing a consistent and unique client experience that is in line with our business strategies. Your leadership will encourage collaboration with global events and marketing colleagues, leveraging sponsorships and cross-regional opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute event strategies that align with business objectives and budget allocations.
- Manage complex budgets and event calendars, emphasizing data management and operational efficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, especially in high-stress situations.
- Proactively think strategically, solve problems, and offer creative solutions.
- Manage key client relationships within the region.
- Oversee flagship events independently.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering junior talent development.
- Deliver a distinctive client experience without guidance.
- Collaborate with other business lines to share resources and cross-sell event opportunities.
- Multi-task and meet tight deadlines with prompt and clear responses.
- Engage in unscheduled projects, prioritizing last-minute opportunities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelors degree or higher.
- Minimum of fifteen years' experience in event management.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Proven proficiency in Excel and other data-related systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership.
- Effective people management skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Prior experience in financial services.
- Proficiency in foreign languages that align to the APAC region.
- Experience in managing cross-border and compliance requirements.
