The JPMC Global Security Department (GS) provides physical security, protection, investigation, resiliency, and crisis management services in support of the company, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development and implementation of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security officer management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud investigations. As site Security Specialist in Global Security, you will be responsible for overseeing guard operations, coordinating policy and procedures with internal and external partners, and evaluating risk and mitigation. This position will coordinate with Global Security Leadership, Line of Business Leadership, and Global Real Estate partners to ensure daily issues and long-term needs are addressed according to policy. In addition to JPMC pre-employment screening, the candidate for this position will be required to pass a client specific government screening.

Responsibilities:

• Manage security operations for multiple facilities, including guard staff operations, security equipment, incident response, and policy issues. This includes management of site access control, intrusion alarms, and video
• Coordinate policy and procedures with internal partners such as Real Estate, site management, and department management to ensure compliance with existing policies
• Evaluate the risk and the application of policy/procedures and physical security tools to meet the ongoing needs of staff and property, adapting and updating as needed
• Liaise with external partners to include local law enforcement, first responders, and regional emergency management agencies
• Travel to assist with site assessment.
• Manage and oversee team participation in audits and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a security role or similar law enforcement/military background
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Exhibit decision-making and management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a stressful environment
• Strong security product understanding
• Pass enhanced background screening
• Pass government screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in a security role or similar law enforcement/military background
• Bachelor's degree in a security or law enforcement field
• Experience with the application of physical security equipment, trends, and use
