The Latin America Multinationals Corporate Bank is looking for a Vice President to lead the Korea into Latin America desk at J.P. Morgan. Position will be based in the region and report to the Head of Latin America Multinationals Corporate Bank.
The Latin America Multinationals Corporate Bank team manages J.P. Morgan's relationships with ~1,000 Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients across their cash management, trade, fx & rates, and financing needs. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions.

As a Vice President in the Latin America Multinationals Corporate Bank, you will lead the Korea into Latin America desk at J.P. Morgan
Job responsibilities
- Build and expand Treasurer / CFO relationships with Korean corporate clients in Latin America
- Originate dialogue at both headquarter and local levels, educating clients on JP Morgan's corporate banking capabilities for Latin American subsidiaries of Korean clients
- Partner with local and headquarter corporate bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution
- Create forward looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationships
- Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JP Morgan's array of corporate banking products (e.g. payments, trade, escrow, derivatives, capital markets, credit, risk management, asset management, etc.)
- Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions
- Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities
- Role based in Mexico City or one of our Latin America offices and requires travel to Korea and within Latin America
- Role requires being native/fluent Korean speaker
- Role also requires (A) proven ability to build and develop client relationships, (B) track record managing complex multi-product and multi-country opportunities, (C) comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, (D) solid credit and analytical skills, (E) strong planning and organizational skills, (F) excellent communication skills, (G) ability to partner with corporate bankers and product specialists within the firm.
