As an Associate within the Global Corporate Banking Business Management team, you will be responsible for supporting our growing client coverage business space. You will be a key player in supporting business leaders, focusing on various aspects of business governance, communication, strategy, and overall business hygiene and maintenance. You will also provide timely and accurate reporting across multiple business dimensions and key performance indexes. This role offers the opportunity to work independently or partner with teammates across geographies on projects with regional or global impact.

Job responsibilities

  • Support Business heads to define and manage revenue growth strategy and business priorities by fostering connectivity between lines of businesses to grow market share and overseeing client prioritization and pipeline management across various product lines
  • Produce strategic and financial presentations for management meetings and business reviews, resources analysis and budgetary process; Analyze and report key trends and themes for senior audiences
  • Manage financial projects including forecasting, revenue reconciliation, balance sheet reviews, among others; Work with the Planning and Analysis, strategy and central team(s) to support accurate business analytics, financials and forecasts
  • Work with regional and global business management team in delivery of regional and global deliverables; Partner closely with functional groups to initiate and deliver the risk and control agenda for the business
  • Project manage existing and new business initiatives and complete in a timely manner
  • Lead offsite planning and preparation, training and other initiatives
  • Manage expenses

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, business management or strategy roles in the financial services industry
  • Data based decision making, leveraging data to support key messages, discreet use of data to maximum effect with proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel, macros and experience in generating high quality PowerPoint documents
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to not only derive the answers, but to frame the answers in the proper context for executive data based decision making
  • Strong execution experience with a demonstrated ability to meet and enforce deadlines
  • The ability to act independently and make proactive recommendations based on gained knowledge and experience. The ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects at once, make decisions at the right time and prioritize effectively. Willing to take advice and escalate when needed
  • A thorough understanding and appreciation of risks and controls, with motivation to improve processes and resolve outstanding issues

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx and Xceptors
  • Strong focus on developing others through knowledge and skillsets
  • Able to look forward to visualize future demands, opportunities and challenges. Able to understand complex context and issues quickly with a curious mindset to dig for the answers
  • Able to quickly shift gears and work on projects of varying nature with individuals across different regions, levels and functions
